got to sing my favorite song for the Kingsmen Cabaret this weekend :) i feel the most like myself when i sing this beautiful score, and after working on this piece for almost a year(!!), i am so proud of the progress i continue to make in telling its story 🩵

self-tape outtakes from today feat. the angel on my shoulder @lucastheoldsoul 👼💘 i’ve been struggling with feelings of inadequacy and insecurity in my work for quite a while — but more & more i find myself fighting back against the thoughts that tell me there’s no place for me in this field and reconnecting with the parts of my actor self that remind me how much i love to do this. i count my lucky stars every day that i’m an actor who loves auditioning, and i’m starting to try and love every version of my work just as much! this video was one of the takes i decided not to submit, but i’m so glad i watched it back before deleting it because there’s some good stuff in here 🕺 and getting to hear for myself how much i’ve grown just this year (from hours of hard work & dedication!) is becoming easier to celebrate every day 🌟
